NEW YORK-- Recently, loyal Exclusively Misook customer Karen Hastie Williams was featured on the cover of Continental Airlines’ in-flight magazine wearing selections from Misook’s line. Williams, a Washington D.C.-based attorney and business woman, was featured in the July 2002 edition of "Continental" for her many projects in the service of the community, including counseling a government committee in the public sector, developing minority leadership for various corporations, and assisting nonprofits.

Williams finds the Exclusively Misook line aptly suits her hectic schedule. “As a member of the Board of Continental Airlines, I often go straight from the plane to business meetings to dinner. I need clothes that are comfortable for traveling, that do not wrinkle and that transition well from one event to another in the life of a professional woman,” she says.

Williams appreciates the philosophy behind the Exclusively Misook collection. Misook created her versatile line based on basic black tops, bottoms, and cardigans that mix with fashionable new color styles each month.

“Another important feature for me is the mix of black with strong but not flashy colors,” she says. “This allows me to make several outfits out of three or four Misook pieces, a few blouses and scarves.”

“I design my line for the woman on the go, to make her life easy and streamlined,” says Misook, president and principal designer of the company. “I know what to design because I am the best customer for my clothes.”

Williams agrees, “Exclusively Misook is a mainstay of my travel wardrobe!”
